Variety reports that Will Gluck is attached to produce a remake of Screen Gems’ 1986 comedy About Last Night, which starred Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Jim Belushi and Elizabeth Perkins.
Gluck will produce through his Olive Bridge Productions and will help recruit a director and writer.
The original film was directed by Edward Zwick and based on David Mamet’s 1974 play “Sexual Perversity in Chicago,” about a couple who start a romantic affair despite their friends’ disapproval.
Gluck has previously directed the Screem Gems comedies Fired Up! and Easy A. His next project for the studio is Friends with Benefits, starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. It hits theaters on July 22.
