At last night’s Times Talk event moderated by The New York Times‘ Jon Pareles, former Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor confirmed that he and his musical collaborator Atticus Ross will reteam with director David Fincher for his upcoming adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s bestselling thriller The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo due out on December 21. The English version of the film stars Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Christopher Plummer and Stelland Skarsgard.
Reznor and Ross scored Fincher’s acclaimed The Social Network, which is thought to be a frontrunner in a number of categories at the Academy Awards this year, including a possible nomination for Reznor and Ross’ original score.
