Looks like Ouija won’t be as scary as was originally thought.
Based on the popular spooky ol’ slice of cardboard that supposedly lets you communicate with the supernatural, the film is being produced by Universal and Platinum Dunes and TRON: Legacy‘s writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz recently confirmed one thing about the project: It won’t be scary.
“No. It’s Indiana Jones that kind of tone,” says Horowitz. “It’s a big adventure movie.”
It will be interesting to see how they will make it look different from Jumanji if that’s the case.
Ouija is scheduled for a November 9, 2012 release.
