24 Frames reports that Simon West (Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Con Air) is attached to direct Medallion.
The site describes the film as “the story of a father who has just a few hours to locate his kidnapped daughter, who has been locked by hostage-takers in the trunk of an unidentified New York City cab.”
McG is producing the thriller, written by David Guggenheim.
West next action thriller, The Mechanic, is scheduled to hit theaters on January 28, and he’s next expected to shoot Protection with Dwayne Johnson.
