ComingSoon.net has learned that Media Rights Capital has bought Tony Mosher’s script for an action movie titled The Civilian.
Basil Iwanyk of Thunder Road, whose recent credits include The Town, The Expendables and Clash of the Titans, will produce the project.
In the film, described as being in the vein of Die Hard, a weapons convention at the San Diego Convention Center is taken hostage and it is up to a washed-out, former soldier to save the day.
