ComingSoon.net received some exclusive photos from the Puerto Rico set of Fast Five. While the actors were not at this particular shoot, an action scene was filmed involving a big safe at what looks to be a carnival in Rio de Janeiro (Puerto Rico is being used as Brazil).
In the scene, the safe is dragged across the street by two Dodge Chargers which are being chased by the police. Extras are running away from the shots being fired and it’s set in a commercial area with banks, bus stops, etc.
Opening in theaters on June 10, 2011, the Justin Lin-directed film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Joaquim de Almeida and Elsa Pataky. In the fifth installment of the “Fast and Furious” franchise, Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) are fugitives being pursued by relentless lawmen.
