Steve Carell Looks to be Raised by Wolfs

The Hollywood Reporter’s Risky Business blog is reporting that DreamWorks Studio have bought the comedy pitch Raised by Wolfs from writer Les Firestein with Steve Carell attached to produce and star in the movie.

The comedy is likely to be one of Carell’s first projects with his company Carousel Productions, following his departure from NBC’s hit sitcom “The Office” next year.

No plot or premise was revealed although the initial story mentions that the misspelling of “wolves” is intentional, being the last name of the character to be played by Carell.

Previously, Firestein was the head writer on the Wayans’ “In Living Color” and a producer of “The Drew Carey Show.” According to the story, Carell and Carousel also has three comedies set-up at Warner Bros.: Missing Links, Mail Order Groom and Hi-T.
