Colin Farrell and Marion Cotillard will star in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis, says Variety. Filming will take place from March to May in Toronto and New York.
The film, based on Don DeLillo’s novel, will follow a multimillionaire on a 24-hour odyssey across Manhattan. Farrell will play the asset manager who loses all his wealth over the course of one day. Cotillard will play his wife.
Cronenberg wrote the $20.5 million film being produced by Paulo Branco’s Alfama Films and Cronenberg’s Toronto-based Antenna, in association with Kinology.
Farrell has a busy schedule ahead of him as last night as was also announced that he will star in both the Fright Night remake and Seth Gordon’s Horrible Bosses. Cottilard can next be seen in Christopher Nolan’s Inception.
