“Harold & Kumar” creators Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg have come on board to direct Universal’s American Pie 4, reports Risky Business.
Hurwitz and Schlossberg are currently writing the fourth “American Pie” movie, which would reunite the cast of the original films, though no deals have been made.
This means that the duo won’t be directing A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas, the third installment in the series. That job instead will go to newcomer Todd Strauss Schulson. Hurwitz and Schlossberg did write the script.
John Cho and Kal Penn are both signed to reprise their roles and production company Mandate is eyeing a summer start.
