Jason Segel and John Michael Higgins are joining Cameron Diaz and Lucy Punch in the Columbia Pictures comedy Bad Teacher, to be directed by Jake Kasdan.
The script, by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, follows a foul-mouthed, gold-digging seventh-grade teacher who, after being dumped by her current boyfriend, sets her sights on a colleague (Punch) who is dating the school’s model teacher.
Segel will play a gym teacher, while Higgins plays the principal, a man named Wally Snur.
Filming starts next month in Los Angeles.
