Chris McCoy and Jan Pinkava are writing the animated film Little White Lie for Laika Entertainment, the company behind the Oscar-nominated Coraline. Pinkava will direct as well.
The Hollywood Reporter says the project comes from an original idea by Pinkava, who won an Oscar for the animated short film “Geri’s Game” and has also worked on the Pixar movies Ratatouille, Monsters, Inc., Toy Story 2 and A Bug’s Life.
Laika has an adaptation of Alan Snow’s Here Be Monsters! in development along with the original feature Paranorman.
