Channing Tatum Joins Soderbergh’s Knockout

The scoopsters at The Playlist seem to have found another piece of the puzzle that is Steven Soderbergh’s spy thriller Knockout, as they’re reporting that Channing Tatum from G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra has joined the ensemble cast of Gina Carano, Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor and Dennis Quaid, with Antonio Banderas also in talks to play “the head of a Black Ops European unit.”

As reported earlier, the movie will start shooting in February with Lionsgate in place to distribute. (They say that they want to get the movie out by August.) The Playlist also reports David Holmes, composer of all three “Ocean” movies, will be reunited with Soderbergh for the project, and they have a lot of more information about the production you can read in their full story.
