Steve Carell and Tina Fey, who co-star in the upcoming comedy Date Night, are loosely attached to star in Mail-Order Groom, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The Warner Bros. comedy is about a naive single woman who can’t find love and ends up with a husband from Eastern Europe, bringing him home to the States.
Glenn Ficarra and John Requa have come on board to do a light rewrite of the script, which was originally written by Robert Carlock and Scott Silveri. The story is based on an idea by Fey’s husband, Jeff Richmond, plus Carlock and Silveri.
