‘Gone Girl’ Gets an R, ‘Expendables 3’ a PG-13 In Today’s MPAA Ratings

We’ve already had Trent Reznor Gone Girl as a “nasty film” and today we get the R-rating to prove it as the MPAA delivers the rating with a reason stating it’s for “a scene of bloody violence, some strong sexual content/nudity, and language.”

On the other side of the coin, we have the once R-rated Expendables franchise going PG-13 with The Expendables 3, though I’m sure that just means little blood but still plenty of gun fire.

Also in today’s ratings are ratings for the James Brown biopic Get On Up, the Bill Murray-led comedy St. Vincent and an R-rating for Ryan Gosling‘s Lost River.
