I had to look up what the Sinister Six was, but according to Wikipedia it’s a group of supervillains in the Marvel Comics universe made up of Spider-Man’s foes. So, I guess one of these nine new pictures (via CS) from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be of interest to anyone who’s been clamoring for the group to make an appearance.
Apparently the band of evildoers was started by Doctor Octopus (played by Alfred Molina in Sam Raimi‘s Spider-Man 2) and of those that responded they included Vulture, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, and Sandman. Not sure how it will play into the new film, but with The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man 4 already announced I’m pretty sure we’ll find out soon enough.
Otherwise with these new pictures you get new looks at Dane DeHaan (who plays Harry Osborn) holding a camera, two of Paul Giamatti as the Rhino, Jamie Foxx as Electro and, obviously, Andrew Garfield and his stunt-double as Spider-Man among other appearances such as a shot of Stan Lee on set.
