‘Escape Plan’, ‘One Direction’, ‘Clown’ and ‘Battle of the Year’ in Today’s MPAA Ratings Bulletin

Not exactly the most exciting ratings bulletin, but some recognizable titles nonetheless as we begin with Screen Gems’ breakdancing drama Battle Of The Year starring Laz Alonso, Josh Holloway and Chris Brown getting a PG-13. Costa-Gravas‘ new film Capital, which quietly played the Toronto Film Festival last year, has been picked up by the Cohen Media Group and it would appear now that it has a rating may actually see a release.

I’m not sure how many of you remember Clown, but Dimension Films seems to finally be ready to usher it into theaters, though no release date has yet been set for the R-rated horror.

Escape Plan starring Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger will arrive in theaters on October 18 and it will do so with an R rating to, I’m sure, the satisfaction of all those looking forward to seeing it. And, finally, Morgan Spurlock‘s concert-doc One Direction: This Is Us will hit theaters at the end of this month with a PG rating.
