Natalie Portman Gets Dressed Up for New ‘Thor 2: The Dark World’ Poster

A new poster for Thor: The Dark World (11/8) has premiered and it features all the cast principles including Natalie Portman all decked out in Asgardian garb. There hasn’t been much talk about this film as it seems to be the one character franchise in the Avengers troupe that most people dislike, but personally I think Thor holds up better than all the other Avengers films as it’s so goofy it’s easier to take seriously in such a goofy world and it looks like this next one will continue the trend.

I just have to wonder, how does Thor (Chris Hemsworth) do it? How does a god from another realm convince an Earth girl to travel with him across space and time to a foreign land and convince her she would be best off wearing a metal bustier and shoulder pads? I love it!

And look in the background there, everyone all snarling and sneering and Anthony Hopkins all, “Have you seen my other eye?” Classic A. Hops!
