Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’ Adds Burstyn, Chalamet and Foy

Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming sci-fi film Interstellar has just added three new names in Ellen Burstyn, Timothée Chalamet (“Homeland”) Mackenzie Foy (pictured) who will be seen in The Conjuring this weekend and had her break-out start in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 as Renesmee.

Their roles in the project are unknown, but they join a cast that already includes Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, Bill Irwin and Michael Caine.

Interstellar is set for a November 7, 2014 release and involves time travel and alternate dimensions in a story that sees a group of explorers travel through a wormhole. The script is based on scientific theories developed by a Kip Thorne, a theoretical physicist, a gravitational physicist and astrophysicist at Caltech. Like Inception, the story is said to be “complex and multi-layered”. [The Wrap]
