A few new marketing looks at Iron Man 3 (5/3) have come online, first in the way of a new character poster featuring Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and secondly in the form of two Empire Magazine covers featuring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. Clearly, by looking at these posters and all of the marketing for the film so far we are meant to understand Iron Man gets beat-up in this one, badly it would seem. I will have to also assume he is able to get back up.
It makes me think of that quote from some movie… what was it? “Why do we fall sir? So we might learn to pick ourselves up.” I think I heard that in a movie somewhere, might have been a superhero movie. I’m not sure, it’s such an infrequently used theme.
