Universal Pictures Sets Upcoming Slate

Universal Pictures has announced release dates for its upcoming slate going into next summer. These are in addition to the previously-announced Funny People this Friday, July 31st, A Perfect Getaway on August 7th, Love Happens on September 18th, Couples Retreat on October 9th, and The Vampire’s Assistant on October 23rd.

On November 6th, the studio will now release the Milla Jovovich thriller The Fourth Kind. That will be followed on Christmas Day with Nancy Meyers’ new romantic comedy, It’s Complicated.

Universal has pushed back The Wolfman again, this time to February 12th, 2010.

A month later, on March 12th, the Paul Greengrass thriller Green Zone, starring Matt Damon, hits theaters.

On April 16th, you can expect MacGruber, which is based on the “Saturday Night Live” sketch.

Going into summer, Universal has kept the Untitled Robin Hood Adventure (May 14) and Despicable Me (July 9) on their release dates and has added the comedy Get Him to the Greek on June 11th.
