Wrap Up/Closing remarks

As I was putting things together I found myself leaving any hope for Beasts of the Southern Wild out of my predictions, moving Dustin Hoffman‘s Quartet in and wondering if I’m assuming too much by including Django Unchained and The Master.

The Hollywood Foreign Press loves to play the celebrity game, which made me wonder if they would overlook the opportunity to nominate Nicole Kidman for The Paperboy instead of a nom for Amy Adams (The Master). I also had a hard time with the Best Actress (Musical/Comedy) category and decided on Leslie Mann (This is 40) and Meryl Streep (Hope Springs) while maybe the late push to get Barbara Streisand (The Guilt Trip) recognized may pay off with a nomination.

In all honesty, my confidence in most of these is pretty strong, but I fully expect to miss at least one in almost every category. So have a look and let me know what you think. Where have I gone wrong? Where have I gone right? We’ll find out the answers together tomorrow morning.
