TriStar has revealed the first poster for the Evil Dead remake, which has already released a gory red band trailer (watch above) and now makes quite the bold claim, describing itself as “The Most Terrifying Film You Will Ever Experience”.
Directed and co-written by Fede Alvarez, Evil Dead retells the story of five friends holed up at a remote cabin where they discover a Book of the Dead, which releases a demonic force, possessing each until only one is left to fight for survival.
The film is set to hit theaters on April 13, 2013 and features a cast largely made up of unknowns and/or actors known more for their independent, low-budget film work in Shiloh Fernandez, Jane Levy, Jessica Lucas and Lou Taylor Pucci.
