Revealed over the course of the day via Twitter, Universal has premiered a new character poster for Les Miserables featuring Hugh Jackman as ex-prisoner Jean Valjean.
Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Russell Crowe) after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Anne Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.
The film is set to hit theaters on December 25 and is my current front-runner for Best Picture, though that’s merely speculation at this point as not a soul has come forward saying they’ve seen it. Soon enough I assume… soon enough.
