Paramount announced today an April 26, 2013 release date for Michael Bay‘s Pain and Gain, and with it they’ve revealed a teaser poster full of muscle building protein.
The film, starring Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg is based on a 1999 Miami New Times article, and follows a couple of criminal bodybuilders involved in an extortion ring and a kidnapping plot. Ed Harris, Rob Corddry, Anthony Mackie, Tony Shalhoub, Bar Paly, Ken Jeong, Tony Plana and Rebel Wilson co-star.
Pain and Gain is Bay’s “small film” before he gets back in the saddle to direct Transformers 4, which is already set for a June 27, 2014 release.
