Executive-turned-screenwriter Marc Haimes will pen the adventure script Family History, in development at Fox.
The story, described as “National Treasure” meets “Back to the Future,” has been shepherded by producers Cormac & Marianne Wibberley, who co-wrote the two Disney “National Treasure” films. Michael Punke originally drafted the project.
“It’s an adventure about a family on a treasure hunt through time,” said Haimes.
