Bornedal Adapting Koontz Novel The Husband

Focus Features has hired Danish helmer Ole Bornedal to direct the adaptation of the Dean Koontz novel The Husband, says Variety.

The film is about an ordinary working man whose love for his wife is put to a harrowing series of tests over a 60-hour period.

Bornedal will write a new draft of the script, originally penned by Glenn Gers.
