Entertainment Weekly will be debuting these nine new shots from The Amazing Spider-Man in their July 15th Comic Con issue, but they have been made available online in advance of the mag’s street date.
The shots include looks at title star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and in his Spider-Man garb, our first official looks at Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, a look at Martin Sheen and Sally Field as Peter’s aunt and uncle May and Ben Parker and Rhys Ifans as the film’s villain, Dr. Conners (aka The Lizard).
Check out the rest of the pics below and stay tuned as the first trailer is expected to hit theaters next Friday (the same day it will debut at San Diego’s Comic Con) with select prints of Captain America: The First Avenger and it is said it will run a full 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
The Amazing Spider-Man will be released in 3D on July 3, 2012. The film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. The film is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
