Minka Kelly has joined Leighton Meester to topline Screen Gems’ thriller The Roommate, being directed by Christian E. Christiansen.
Aly Michalka and Matt Lanter also have joined the cast, which includes Cam Gigandet.
The film is a psychological thriller about a deranged college freshman, Rebecca (Meester), who becomes dangerously obsessed with her new roommate, Sara (Kelly).
Michalka (“Phil of the Future”) will play an outgoing dormmate determined to give Sara a social life. Lanter (“90210”) will play Sara’s ex-boyfriend. Gigandet will play her current boyfriend.
