Today it was Passion Play starring Mickey Rourke, Megan Fox, Rhys Ifans, Bill Murray and Kelly Lynch would make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and along with the news we get the first official look at the film.
Based on the fest’s description of the film, Passion Play is set in the desert and laced with the deep elements of a modern fable. It tells the tale of Nate (Rourke), a down-on-his-luck jazz trumpet player who forms a bond with Lily (Fox), a woman born with wings who has wound up as a carnival sideshow attraction. Together these two damaged souls undertake a turbulent romantic journey while trying to avoid the witty and menacing Happy (Murray), a local gangster.
