No Sucker Punch for Amanda Seyfried?

Entertainment Weekly reports that Amanda Seyfried has had to drop the lead role in Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch, because HBO won’t release her from her “Big Love” commitment, which will be in the middle of filming its fourth season.

The Mamma Mia! star was set to play Babydoll, a young woman who has been committed to an insane asylum and fantasizes about escaping with the help of her fellow inmates.

Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Evan Rachel Wood and Emma Stone will co-star in the action-thriller, which Warner Bros. Pictures has scheduled for an October 8, 2010 release.
