Moritz and Roach Remaking Sexual Failures

Neal Moritz and Jay Roach are teaming on a narrative feature remake of documentary The Complete History of My Sexual Failures for Universal Pictures.

Variety says the pair will produce the comedy, which is being developed as a potential directing vehicle for Roach.

The original pic, which was released in the U.K. last year and unspooled at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, chronicled filmmaker Chris Waitt’s quest to find out how women from his past perceived him.

The fictionalized version will center on a man who sets out to interview every girl he has dated and ask the all-important question, “What’s wrong with me?” Jay Reiss has been tapped to write the screenplay.

Waitt and Henry Trotter, who wrote and produced the documentary, will executive produce.
