‘Sex and the City 2’ Will be About…

The Age has new details on the Sex and the City 2 sequel that to this point has had its story details kept mum. Word is “the proposed story line for Samantha [Kim Cattrall] will be her having to downsize her big-spending life after some of her investments get wiped out. You will see her having to survive on a more modest budget but still staying true to her fabulous taste.”

Going beyond that it is expected that Samantha won’t be the only one losing money as Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, will move to London with her husband Mr. Big after his business in New York starts to suffer.

The Age is reporting via BANG! Showbiz who claims to have a source saying, “The sequel will include key scenes of Carrie and Big in London, possibly shooting this winter for six weeks.

“Big loses a lot of money and takes a job in London, living alone in a one-bedroom apartment. Big gets really low and ends up in bed with another woman. After she leaves him Carrie discovers she is pregnant.”

Sex and the City 2 is currently set for a May 28, 2010 release. The only problem with all the above information is that it has not yet been reported that Chris Noth, who plays Mr. Big, has not yet been reported to have signed on to reprise his role. However, I have a hard time believing they would abandon the Big/Bradshaw storyline considering it was the focal point of the entire first film.
