It’s shocking Pixar or any animation studio for that matter would be so bold as to release anything that wasn’t in 3D, but Pixar is just the studio to buck the trend as they bring the first short in the animated series “The Adventures with Carl and Russell” in promotion of their upcoming film Up which hits theaters on May 29.
The short features the two stars of Up Carl Fredricksen (Ed Asner) and Russell (Jordan Nagai) in a series of adventures in their new found territory.
Check out the first video below and all apologies for it being in only 2D, I know it is hard to enjoy anything nowadays if it isn’t dazzling you visually to distract you from the lack of plot and actual emotional connection.
