The Hollywood Reporter has not only announced two actors that will be joining what will most likely be the third and final film in the Final Destination trilogy, but they also give us a title, Cheating Death: Final Destination 3.
As far as the actors go the two aboard are Ryan Merriman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead with the original Destination director, James Wong, back in the helmer’s chair.
The third film is said to be set six years after the events of the first movie and centers on a high school senior who has a premonition of a fatal amusement-park accident involving her and her friends. When the premonition becomes a reality, those who survive are forced to deal with the repercussions of “cheating death.”
Merriman can currently be seen in the early minutes of the downer sequel The Ring 2 and Winstead can be seen later this year in the Disney flick Sky High.
