Looks like any hope for a Resident Evil 3 or an AVP 2 are going to have to be put on the back burner as the man that seems to have all the ideas for both franchises has a new project set up at Columbia Pictures.
Paul W.S. Anderson is developing to direct Man With the Football, a drama concerning terrorists who steal the U.S. president’s “football” — the briefcase containing computer and telecommunications equipment used to initiate a nuclear strike — causing an elite band of government agents to scramble to thwart a terrorist attack.
The story was written by John Pogue.
