I have held off on writing articles about just who will be presenting at the Oscars because I highly doubt you really care on an individual basis, but now that a week or so has gone by without an update how about some names?
First off, added to the presenters list are Kirsten Dunst, Kate Winslet and Ziyi Zhang. On top of that, the Academy has also announced that Billy Bush, Jann Carl, Chris Connelly and Shaun Robinson have been set to co-host the Academy’s arrivals show “Oscar Countdown 2005”.
As for performances, Beyoncé, Josh Groban and Counting Crows will perform some of the nominated original songs at the 77th Academy Awards.
Beyoncé and Josh Groban will perform “Believe” from The Polar Express.
Counting Crows will perform their best song nomination “Accidentally In Love” from Shrek 2 (music by Adam Duritz, Charles Gillingham, Jim Bogios, David Immergluck, Matthew Malley and David Bryson with lyrics by Duritz and Daniel Vickrey).
Beyoncé also will perform “Look to Your Path” from Les Choristes accompanied by the American Boyschoir and “Learn to Be Lonely” from The Phantom of the Opera.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2004 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland®. The Oscars® will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m. PST / 8 p.m. EST.
