The boys over at JoBlo.com have come across a fantastic bit of news as they have a scan from a Swedish newspaper detailing info that swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård has been cast as Bootstrap Bill in The Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3.
Bootstrap is the father to Orlando Bloom‘s character, Will Turner, and according to JoBlo scooper, who can apparently read Swedish, Stellen tells the paper, “I’ve been promised to get at least one real swords fight” and that production starts in LA at the end of next month before heading to the Bahamas later in the production. He also adds that he has only read the script for the second film and he believes they are still working on the third one.
