Ormond, Strathairn and O’Hara Board Grandin Project

Julia Ormond, David Strathairn and Catherine O’Hara have joined the cast of HBO’s Temple Grandin project, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Mick Jackson is directing, and Claire Danes is starring as Grandin, one of the leading speakers on autism, whose unique experience with the disorder led her to become one of the top scientists in humane livestock handling. Merritt Johnson and Christopher Monger wrote the screenplay.

Ormond is set to play Grandin’s mother, while Strathairn will play her university science teacher. O’Hara will play her aunt.

The project begins filming this month on location in Austin.
