Crystal Joins Tooth Fairy ; Graham, Barda Get Hangover

In tonight’s casting news, Variety reports that comic actor Billy Crystal will be making his return to live action movies for the first time since 2002’s Analyze That by taking a role in the upcoming Fox comedy Tooth Fairy, which starts shooting on Monday in Vancouver.

Directed by Michael Lembeck, it stars Dwayne Johnson, Ashley Judd, Julie Andrews, Stephen Merchant from “The Office” and Ryan Sheckler. Johnson plays a minor league hockey player known for loosening dental work with physical play and is sentenced to serve as the real Tooth Fairy for a week.

In the meantime, The Hollywood Reporter has Heather Graham and Justin Bartha (from the “National Treasure” movies) joining the Warner Bros. comedy The Hangover, directed by Todd (Old School) Phillips, which starts shooting this week in Las Vegas.

That story revolves around three buddies, played by Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis, who lose their best friend (Bartha) at his Caesars Palace bachelor party just 40 hours before his wedding. The trio must attempt to retrace all their bad decisions from the night before and figure out where things went wrong. Graham plays a Vegas local who crosses paths with the guys and might know more about the groom than she lets on.
