Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps has set up the ensemble comedy Neighborhood Watch at 20th Century Fox as a potential directing vehicle for Levy, reports Variety.
The story chronicles an urbanite’s journey as he moves to a suburban community, joins the neighborhood watch and uncovers a large conspiracy. The trade says studio executive John Fox came up with the concept and brought it in to the Fox-based company; 21 Laps then hired Jared Stern to write.
Levy is producing Neighborhood Watch with 21 Laps president Tom McNulty.
