New Line Cinema has optioned “How to be Single,” a Liz Tuccillo novel about modern dating and relationships that will be produced by Flower Films partners Nancy Juvonen and Drew Barrymore, says Variety.
The novel will be adapted by Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn. The duo also adapted the wry self-help book “He’s Just Not That Into You,” which Tuccillo co-authored; it was turned into an ensemble romantic comedy by New Line and Flower.
There’s no word yet if Barrymore will play a role in “Single.”
