Warner Bros. Pictures has bought Shawn Christensen’s sci-fi thriller Karma Coalition for Dan Lin to produce, reports Variety.
Christensen, who is the lead singer of the indie rock band stellastarr*, wrote the screenplay while working on the New York-based group’s upcoming third album.
Karma Coalition centers on a falsely accused fugitive who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind his wife’s death before the world comes to an end.
Lin is producing a number of pics for the studio, including superhero film Justice League, the Image Shadowline comic book series Hiding in Time and the Guy Ritchie-directed Sherlock Holmes. He is also executive producing Terminator Salvation and the Robert Rodriguez-directed Shorts.
