Disturbia screenwriter Christopher Landon will make his directorial debut with the indie dark comedy Burning Palms, which he wrote, reports Variety.
What’s described as a subversive tale interlaces five stories set in Los Angeles, where no taboo is left unexplored as each character careens toward a dark and often comic fate.
Oren Segal, Steven Prince and Jason Hewitt are producing, and Tyler Thompson, Vince Morella, and Nas Jafri executive produce.
Principal photography will begin the first week of October in Los Angeles.
