Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart Get Intimate on Woody Allen Set

Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart on set of Woody Allen’s latest

We’ve received more photos from the set of Woody Allen’s latest untitled film featuring a lip-locked Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart in period costume. Check out the pics, along with images from two previous days of shooting, in the gallery below!

Also, in more alarming news, Deadline has reported that one of the film’s biggest names, Bruce Willis, has quite suddenly dropped out of the project. While the article says the actor vacating his role is due to scheduling issues with his commitment to star in the theatrical production of Stephen King’s “Misery” on Broadway opposite Laurie Metcalf, we just released photos yesterday of the actor on location with Eisenberg and Allen. Could the “scheduling issues” be a cover for what may have been a clash on set? Allen is also famous for recasting roles after filming starts if an actor doesn’t fit the tone or period, as he did with Michael Keaton on The Purple Rose of Cairo or most of the principal cast on September. Whatever the case may be, Allen has to find a marquee-worthy replacement for Willis STAT.

The cast also includes Jeannie Berlin (Inherent Vice), Blake Lively (Age of Adeline), Parker Posey (Best in Show), Corey Stoll (Ant-Man) and Ken Stott (The Hobbit Trilogy). The co-stars are Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect 1 & 2), Stephen Kunken (Still Alice), Sari Lennick (A Serious Man), and Paul Schneider (Water for Elephants).

Allen’s new film is produced by his long-time collaborators Letty Aronson, Steve Tenenbaum and Edward Walson. Executive producers are Ronald L. Chez, Adam B. Stern and Allan Teh. Three-time Oscar-winning cinematographer Vittorio Storaro (Apocalypse Now, Reds, The Last Emperor) will shoot the film, which shoots this month on location in New York and Los Angeles.

This marks the second collaboration between Allen and Eisenberg after 2012’s To Rome With Love, as well as Eisenberg’s third onscreen pairing with Stewart (The Twilight Saga) after 2009’s Adventureland and this month’s American Ultra. Other Woody Allen vets include Stoll, whose part as Ernest Hemingway in 2011’s hit Midnight in Paris proved a breakout role for him, as well as Posey who plays opposite Joaquin Phoenix in Allen’s current release Irrational Man.
