Back to the Future Celebrates 30th Anniversary with AMC All-Day Marathon

AMC is having an all-day Back to the Future trilogy marathon

AMC is going “Back to the Future” by celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the iconic film trilogy with an all-day marathon of Back to the Future, Back to the Future II and Back to the Future III. The “Back to the Future Marathon” kicks off Sunday, July 19th at 11:00 a.m. ET/PT, with the most electrifying, flux-capacitor driving, clock-ticking films of all time.

Following the marathon, viewers can also tune in for an all new episode of AMC’s drama series Humans, airing on Sunday, July 19th at 9:00pm ET/PT.  The eight-part series takes place in a parallel present where the latest must-have gadget for any busy family is a Synth – a highly developed, artificially intelligent servant eerily similar to its living counterpart. Featuring a cast including William Hurt (A History of Violence, Damages), Katherine Parkinson (“The IT Crowd,” “The Honourable Woman”), Colin Morgan (“Merlin,” “The Fall”), and Gemma Chan (“Sherlock,” “Secret Diary of a Call Girl”), “Humans” takes a riveting look at the advancements in AI and the theories that become a little less hypothetical every day.
