Warner Bros. has acquired an untitled pitch for a fantasy set in Central Park, reports Variety. Bryan Schulz and Neil Uliano will write the script.
Dan Lin will produce through his WB-based Lin Pictures, and Jon Silk will co-produce.
The story follows two brothers who, while visiting their grandfather in New York, meet a man who shows them a mystical realm in Central Park that is in danger.
The idea for the fantasy was developed by WB’s Jon Berg.
WB and Lin have already laid the groundwork for the project by aligning with the Central Park Conservancy, which cares for the park.
