Variety says CBS Films has preemptively bought pitch The Eternals, which will reunite the Never Back Down team of writer Chris Hauty, director Jeff Wadlow and producer Craig Baumgarten.
Plot details of Hauty’s pitch are being kept under wraps, but it is described as a romantic supernatural thriller set on a college campus.
Hauty is working on the script, which is expected to be ready in time to be Wadlow’s next project.
