Korean helmer Na Hong-jin’s next film will be The Murderer, reports Variety.
Na’s first movie, The Chaser, was the surprise hit of this year, and Warner Bros. has snapped it up for an English-language remake that may star Leonardo DiCaprio.
“Murderer” is the dark tale of a man forced to become a murderer to overcome starvation.
Korea’s IM Pictures is an investor, but budget and casting have yet to be determined. Na said he will finish the script after returning from Cannes.
