Fox Picks Up Sci-Fi Thriller Zero-G

20th Century Fox has pre-emptively picked up the rights to sci-fi thriller video game concept Zero-G, from Union Entertainment, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The film project is being produced by Union Entertainment’s Richard Leibowitz, Temple Hill Entertainment’s Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen and the Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein.

Zero-G will be based on the game created by Daniel Jevons that’s still a work in progress. It revolves around a major U.S. city being attacked by a devastating, never-before-seen weapon.

The studio is eyeing the project as a tentpole.
