The tenth annual Star Wars Celebration kicked off this morning with the debut of the second Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser (watch it right here) and we’ve now got even more hints about the highly-anticipated December 18 release thanks to the convention’s The Force Awakens Exhibit. In the gallery viewer below, you can check out more than 50 images of the various costumes on display, including the never-seen-before Flametrooper! What’s more, there are some pretty interesting terms used in the accompanying costume descriptions such as “The First Order” and “The Resistance” (as opposed to “The Rebellion”). We’re not entirely sure how any of it will play out on the big screen, but feel free to share your theories in the comments!
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, and features a new generation of swashbuckling heroes and shadowy villains, as well as the return of fan-favorite smugglers, princesses, and Jedi.
Starring Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, Christina Chong and Miltos Yerolemou, the J.J. Abrams-directed film will debut in theaters on December 18, 2015.
